Maura Owens

Maura Owens FCIPD Director, Human Recourses, The Institute Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. During her time at the Institute Maura has introduced home and flexible working, choice benefits and a market linked pay structure. She has recently been working on the implementation of a new performance management scheme "Delivering Shared Ambition" which is the next step in ensuring that the brand values of the organisation are embedded into everyday working and behaviour and that staff are recognised for their contribution.

David Pyper

David Pyper of the Haygroup is an expert in developing people and designing and implementing strategies that link to business needs and organisational performance. He has worked across a broad range of sectors but now focuses on the UK Public Sector and the Airline and Air Transport Sector.

As well as a client facing role, David is also responsible for managing a large team of consultants working mainly with the UK Public Sector. In the public sector his experience includes the Armed Forces, the Office of Manpower Economics and the Department of Culture, media and Sport as well as a range of agencies and non-departmental public bodies such as the Commission for Social Care Inspection, the Legal Services Commission and the Learning and Skills Council. David works in local government with organisations such as Kent County Council and a number of Regional Development Agencies.

Evan Davidge

Evan Davidge is an independent reward consultant who specialises in integrated and total reward solutions. He works with leading-edge partners to deliver technology based services, performance management, employee benefits and employee engagement strategies.

Prior to setting up EvDav Consulting in 2006, Evan was responsible for employee benefits at Nationwide Building Society. He was highly successful in this role where his work contributed to Nationwide winning several industry awards for employee benefits innovations. Evan was also short-listed by Employee Benefits Magazine in 2005 for an "Outstanding Contribution to Employee Benefits" award, in recognition of his highly regarded and influential work in this field.

Before joining Nationwide, Evan spent most of his career as an HR professional in the Royal Air Force. His work spanned the whole spectrum of Human Resources, ranging from the design and delivery of leadership training for non-commissioned officers through to designing pay and benefit structures for the Royal Air Force.
