Stephen Moir
Stephen Moir is the Director of People and Policy for Cambridgeshire County Council, having initially joined as Director of HR in July 2005. In this role, he is responsible for corporate strategy and policy, partnerships, diversity, HR services, organisational development, payroll and pensions for the 18,000 strong workforce of Cambridgeshire. A committed public sector advocate, Stephen has worked in 3 local authorities and 3 police forces. In prior roles he has also been involved in directing health & safety and communications/PR functions.
Possessing a Masters Degree in Personnel Management with IT and chartered membership of both the CIPD and Chartered Management Institute, Stephen is also the Vice President of the PPMA (Public Sector People Managers’ Association), having previously led for the Association on Pay & Workforce Strategy issues.
