Jim Harwood
Jim has worked in the pensions and benefit industry for almost 25 years. Initially working in Customer Service for a product provider, he moved into product development in the early 90s, specialising in technical pension products such as Executive Pensions, Small Self Administered Schemes and Income Drawdown plans. Following a brief spell working on sales strategy he joined Benfield in December 2003. At Benfield, which has always appeared in the Times top 100 Companies to work for, Jim was responsible for the introduction of the Lifestyle Benefits programme, which has been nominated for numerous industry awards.
Ralph Turner
Ralph Turner is Director of Benefits at ICI, with a worldwide brief covering pensions, flex, share plans and benefits. Prior to this he was Global Pensions Director at Brambles Industries and Group Benefits Manager for Emap plc.
Ralph has served as a member of the Government advisory group on pensions forecasting and on the National Association of Pension Funds Council. He was a member of the Government Employer Task Force, reporting to the Pensions Commission He is married with four children and is author of ‘Working for God’, a book applying Christian principles to the workplace.
