New Exhibitors open new benefit avenues to attendees of Employee Benefits Exhibition and Conference, London 2007
July 2007
This year's show will see the participation of several first time exhibitors. Visitors will be able to see how established brands such as Marriott, RAC Motoring Services, The AA and The Trainline are able to offer broadening options within the employee benefits market that they may not have previously considered. This could include travel benefits for employees, such as company cars or annual season tickets, or incentive based benefits including hotel discounts for all staff or rewards for best performing employees.
"The participation of new exhibitors such as Marriott and The Trainline further illustrates the variety of options available within the benefits market" says Philip Hayne, Group Publisher, Employee Benefits. "Furthermore this highlights just how important employee benefits is within the HR industry as a whole".
This year's Conference programme will look to follow on from last year's success when 96% of conference sessions were rated good or very good by visitors. A series of talks and panel discussions will be presented by some of the leading figures within the industry to tackle the issues of the year. These include: how to manage talent, improvements in recruitment and retention of employees, examining how to get the best benefits package available and the hot topic in the industry - the link between employee wellbeing and happiness within the workplace.
Flexible Benefits will have a dedicated stream during the opening day featuring speakers from major employers such as Betfair and ICI providing a beginners overview of flexible benefits and a panel discussing the future of flexible benefits.
Other sessions will include promoting Health and Wellbeing, exploring tax efficient benefits and the all important how to reward and retain your workforce.
The show will also see the presentation of exclusive research on "Enjoyment in Employment - the benefits of happiness in the workplace" during the opening free keynote session on Wednesday 3rd October. The research, commissioned by Employee Benefits, will be carried out by market research specialists YouGov.
Philip Hayne further adds; "The show is firmly committed in keeping up to date with the latest trends within the industry and we believe this research will provide a key insight into the link between reward, a happy workforce and greater productivity at work".
