Press Releases

Incentives, Healthcare, Flexible Benefits and James Bond at this year's show.

August 2007

Love2reward and Motivano will both be promoting their Virtual Incentive Points and Perk Points online schemes respectively enabling employees to accrue points for various achievements and use them to purchase online gifts including shopping vouchers and holidays. The Voucher Shop provides a one-stop-shop approach to vouchers allowing clients a wide range of options when rewarding or incentivising staff, customers or suppliers whilst a first time exhibitor, the hotel chain Marriott, will be talking to visitors about its Marriott Individual Incentives product. Employees are offered cut-price deals in over 2,700 Marriott hotels across the world whilst golf days, dining experience and pamper days are also included.

Healthcare providers Denplan and Westfield Health will be explaining how employers can incorporate healthcare as part of their benefits package. Denplan has six different pricing structures from as little as £3 per employee per year to £17 per employee per year depending on the level of dental cover required. Meanwhile Westfield Health will use the show to showcase Westfield Restore - an occupational health, absence and risk management tool that offers a musculoskeletal rehabilitation service. Westfield Health, a leading provider of health insurance, will also be running a free prize draw where the winner will be treated to a 'Refresh and Revive' day for two at Ragdale Hall in Leicestershire.

Exhibitors which will be offering different types of benefits include Emergency Childcare and Flexphone Ltd. Emergency Childcare will launch their Out of School Care a website that gives employees access to over 200 holiday clubs for children between the ages of 6 to 16 during the school holidays. Ben Black, MD of Emergency Childcare, explained "No-one has ever looked after school kid commitments properly before". Meanwhile Flexphone Ltd shall showcase their Mobile Salary Saver to HR / Benefits decision makers coming from large UK corporations (2k+ employees) and will demonstrate how companies can expect to make average annual savings of £51,000 for every 1,000 employees subscribed to the scheme.

First time exhibitors include the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and ASE (Eye Care Plans) Ltd. The FSA will use the show to raise awareness of their Make the most of your money free financial education seminars designed to help employees manage their finances better. Bringing a James Bond theme to the show will be ASE (Eye Care Plans) Ltd. An administrative opticians service provider, ASE will use a James Bond look alike and a Bond girl to escort visitors to their stand where they can use the touch screen kiosk to see just how important eye care is to a benefits package.

Also exhibiting for the first time will be the Royal Bank of Canada's Corporate Employee & Executive Services (RBC cees). Global team representatives will be on hand to discuss their project management, employee trust and administration services for share & equity based incentives, international pension plans and employee benefit plans. RBC cees is in the unique position of being able to offer comprehensive employee & executive support, including wealth management solutions and banking facilities to plan participants.

Thomsons Online Benefits will demonstrate how Intelligent Reward™ can minimise administration costs and help communicate the value of a reward package. Thomsons Online Benefits also offer online flexible benefits and total reward statements. The provider plans to make its presence felt at the show with a large plasma screen that will display demonstrations of how its various benefit programmes operate.

By popular demand, Orbit Benefits will show off its new defined benefit (DB) pension modeller. Charlie Carrick, director at Orbit Benefits confirmed: "This was never really our market but we kept being asked about it, so we decided to turn our defined contribution (DC) product into a DB modeller." The online modeller is designed for employees in either closed or open DB schemes. Staff can log onto the site and enter details such as age, pension payments and age of retirement to calculate what the sum of their pension pot will be on retirement. Employers who already have a DC modeller from Orbit Benefits can take the DB modeller on as a free upgrade.

Workplace Giving UK will be offering a free promotion to your employees of your existing Payroll Giving scheme at the show. Charitable donations through this scheme are a tax effective way to give to charity and even if your company doesn’t offer Payroll Giving, Workplace Giving UK will assist you in the introduction as well as the promotion of the scheme.

The Employee Benefits Exhibition and Conference, London, is free to attend by pre-registering via the website.
